Dr. David Weddle
Dr. David Weddle was raised in Springfield, and attended the local public schools. Following 5 years as a U.S. Marine, he attended Missouri State University for his undergraduate coursework. He then attended the University of Missouri, graduating in 1997 with his DVM degree. He spent the next 11 years in various Midwest small animal general and emergency practices before opening Wilson's Creek Animal Hospital in 2008.
When not at the hospital, he enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and bicycling around Southwest Missouri.
Stacy
Stacy has been working at Wilson's Creek Animal Hospital since April of 2011. Native of Springfield, MO, she graduated from Kickapoo High School before coming to work for Wilson's Creek. She has an Associate's Degree in Business and Marketing and is currently jack of all trades at the clinic, mainly being the office manager but also helps out in other areas when needed.
She has 4 cats and 2 dogs at home, and when she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her baby boy and time outdoors.
Whitney
Whitney has been working at Wilson's Creek Animal Hospital since March of 2009. She has many years of veterinary assistant experience. Whitney graduated from Missouri State University in 2008 with a BS in Animal Science. She has 2 dogs, 4 cats and a horse at home.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time outside and enjoying time with her son.
Buster - Clinic Cat
Buster is the current clinic cat. He came to the clinic as a stray kitten in July 2013. He is very playful and persistent. You may not see Buster when you come in as he likes to make sure the hospital part of the clinic is running smoothly.
Hiss & Spit
RIP Hiss. Brother to Spit, he came to the clinic shortly after opening in 2008. He was a sweet cat and made a great mascot for our clinic. He was very loved by all who knew him. Sadly, he passed in October 2021. He is dearly missed!
RIP Spit. The other mascot of the clinic, came to Wilson's Creek in the days following it's opening with his brother Hiss. When not supervising the clinic staff to ensure everything was done right, he loved to spend his time greeting customers, napping in the sun, and bringing smiles to anyone who walked through the door. Sadly, he passed in December 2023. We will miss him dearly.
